About the route

Up the mountains
with drivers who know the way.

Nova Friburgo sits in the mountain region of Rio de Janeiro, so getting there means climbing the serra. Most of our trips go through Cachoeiras de Macacu, taking the ascent on the Friburgo side. Your driver follows the traffic and road conditions on the day and may adjust the route when that works better for your schedule. The journey takes around 2h30 to 3h — a time that already accounts for the climb, driven calmly and without rush.

The town was founded by Swiss settlers in the early 19th century and keeps the mountain climate that draws visitors looking to escape Rio's heat. Demand for transfers rises in the winter, between June and August, when the mountains get colder — a period worth booking in advance to secure the vehicle category you want.

Most of our clients are heading to downtown Nova Friburgo and the hotels in the city. Your driver takes you straight to the agreed address, with no stops and no changing vehicles along the way: from the arrivals hall to the door of your accommodation, in a single private car.
